Male Volunteers Needed @ Camp Boggy Creek

If you are looking to not only have the time of your life, but you want to make a difference in the lives of some amazing kids, then Camp Boggy Creek is the place for you. Please visit our website at www.BoggyCreek.org where you will find the volunteer application and sign up TODAY!

What is Camp Boggy Creek:
Camp Boggy Creek is a year round medical camping facility for children, ages 7-16, who have chronic or life-threatening illnesses. We serve over 13 different illness groups including heart disease, HIV, sickle cell anemia, and cancer. The mission of Boggy Creek is to enrich the lives of these children by creating camping experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe, and medically sound. The children and families who come to our camp come absolutely free of charge along with our volunteers. We are a not-for-profit organization, which depends entirely on the monetary generosity of others, as well as on the volunteers who provide the man-power to help make this experience happen for these children.

Our programs include 8 week-long Summer Camping Sessions, which begin in June and run through mid-August. Summer programs allow our kids a week of fun, adventure, and independence: catching their first fish, shooting a bow and arrow, or climbing the "tower" while helping them to create some incredible memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Volunteers serve as Cabin Counselors, living and playing with our campers for an entire week of fun. We have a TREMENDOUS NEED FOR MALE VOLUNTEERS during our summer camping season. We begin signing up for the summer camp in January of each new year!

Don't miss out on the time of your life!
Camp Boggy Creek, located east of Eustis, FL., is looking for a few good men, ages 19 and older- all guys, dads, brothers, cousins and friends - to volunteer and be a positive role model as a cabin counselor for one or more of our 8 summer sessions (beginning in June and ending mid-August) with boys ages 7-16 years old.

*FEMALES are also needed to volunteer with our female campers!

If you want to:

* experience a life-altering week
* make a difference in the life of a child
* work in a community that believes in teamwork
* meet people from around the world
* gain interpersonal skills and career experience
* be a positive role model
* empower children beyond their expectations
* spend a week changing lives and maybe even your own
* play with kids!
